· |
The Procuring Department is Division of Economic and Financial Policy. |
|
|
· |
The Presidential Directive CAB 11(A)/2010 on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) shall be implemented in the evaluation of the tender for locally registered companies with the relevant registration certificate. |
|
|
· |
Documents may be collected during working hours from 0800 hours to 1600 hours from 1st February 2016
|
|
|
· |
A non-refundable fee of P250 in cash, payable in favour of the Government of Botswana is required on collection of the tender documents. The fee is payable at Office 2-06, from 0800 hours to 1600 hours Monday to Friday, First Floor, New Building MFDP. |
|
|
· |
A Two-Envelope procedure will be followed. Bids should be submitted as one (1) original and four (4) duplicate copies for each (financial & technical) as follows; One envelope sealed containing the Technical bid (without any cost details whatsoever), clearly labelled “Technical Bid” with Tender Number, Title and name of bidder on the back of the envelope. Another envelope, sealed, containing the financial bid (with cost details for carrying out the tasks outlined in the Technical bid), clearly labelled “Financial bid” with Tender Number, Title and name of bidder. The two envelopes should be put together in a third outer envelope, which should be sealed and labelled with the tender number, Title and name of bidder.
Tenders must be registered with Security Officer at Ministry of Finance & Development Planning Headquarters(Link Block) before being dropped in the tender box |

Tender documents not correctly packaged and labelled as per instruction above will not be accepted. |

The closing date and time for receipt of tender offers is on the 26th February 2016 at 1000hours Late tender offers will not be accepted. |

· |
A bidder wishing to withdraw or modify or replace his or her bid at any time before the tender closing date, shall in writing, notify the procuring and disposal entity of the withdrawal and the withdrawal letter shall be authorised and submitted in the same way as the bids. |
|
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board’s Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the tender documents.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
